How should I care for my rug?
Vacuum your wool rug regularly. If your rug has fringe, be careful to avoid the fringe. Have your wool rug professionally cleaned every 5 - 10 years. Hand-knotted rugs are made to last. Do not be afraid to vacuum regularly. **Do not use a normal carpet cleaner for these rugs, as it can damage them.
Will my rug fade?
Yes, but it's over a long period of time. The colors in oriental rugs often soften over time. This tends to be a natural process and adds to the uniqueness of the rug. To evenly distribute sun fading, be sure to rotate your rug yearly.
